You can click-to-listen to Tom's wonderful set from the Ottawa Bluesfest on mvyradio...

Also, a great interview from Ottawa and, if you look in the mvyradio Archives, under "Canadian Music Week," there's a 2006 interview and set with Tom from Toronto.
Hi, are you going to re-issue High OR hurtin' any time soon? I left my copy in Finland, those crazy Finns love it, and now it's not available, please, please re-release. greannmhar@gmail.com
Dear Blackie (and Kings),
I really enjoyed your Camp Chair Concert. I was pissed at the chairs too for not showing a little more appreciation. Great show: funny, spirited, blistering slide. Thanks for visiting us. Hope you come again soon.
A new fan,
rob
A couple of years ago I bought an old Murray McLauchlan Greatest Hits CD out of a remainder bin, and was surprised at how fresh many of the songs still sounded. My favourites were Down by the Henry Moore and Hard Rock Town. I was thrilled when you guys recorded Henry Moore, and just bought the CD. Your concert at the Queens was the best thing about a recent stay in Nanaimo. You guys rule!
I was wondering, did Tom sew your Blackie uniforms? (I sew superbly, if you need help - not that Tom isn't an excellent sewer..sewer? Did I just call tom wilson a sewer?)
Condolences to the friends and family of Willie P. Bennett. Even though we can (and will!) continue to play his albums, he will be missed.
..."It was mentioned he was going to record a new batch of songs. It would only be fitting if you guys brought those songs to light"...
I know it's too soon to be thinking about this too seriously -- but if and when you do, guys, know that a lot of us out here think that B&RK would be the perfect band to keep the legacy going.
Hey Tom, Any idea where I might be able to get hold of a CD copy of the Florida Razors' Beat Music? I've worn the vinyl thru and still have it in regular rotation at home (I know, I gotta get out more!) Lemme know if it's available anywhere. eoink@shaw.ca
Somewhere up there, the big man is playing mandolin with one helluva band. Sadly, we mere mortals will have to try to fill the enormous hole he's left behind with the likes of B&RK and Fred Eaglesmith. Thanks God for that. Rock steady.
Having been to Eaglesmith and Bark concerts, I have grown to adore the man called Willie P. Your mandolin and harp, and your eyes tell the story..... IRREPLACABLE! love always....
